a gift from Ashton...

Ashton called a special meeting today to let the wives here know how much they are appreciated. He told us that we are a vital part in the success of our husbands individually and as well as part of the team here. He thanked us each with a gift and a personalize card. The gift was a lucky bamboo plant like the one pictured below. It was not just only a token of his gratitude towards us but also to promote good fortune!! :) He is so thoughtful. We all loved our gift. {SO CUTE!!}

We, the wives, know that we are not the only help and support our husbands get but that the managers do just as much. And I want to personally thank Ashton for being the leader and the motivator that he is in helping our husbands to succeed. Thank you!! :)

Game Night

Last night we had a fun, and loud, game night. The pictures don't really do it justice. Landon is famous for making weird faces in pictures. No one knew they were getting their pictures taken, and yet Landon looked up at the last second and managed to pull this face. It was like an automatic reaction! It is quite a talent if you ask me!

D&B's

On Saturday we went to dinner at Dave & Buster's again. This time we stayed until we were kicked out a little bit after 2 am.

We went home with t-shirts and mugs and a few of us go a glimpse of what the future might hold with a photo from The Gene Machine photo booth. It takes and morphs your faces together, so the image is what your future child might possible look like. I'm sure it's not in anyway accurate. I think the results are meant to scare you out of having children. . . yet it's totally hilarious too!!

PNC Park & a Pirates victory!!

On Saturday the 28th of June the mangers opted to take the crew out to a ball game. The game was tied until the 13th inning where the Pirates came out victorious!!

today is thursday . . . I mean "MUNDAY"!

I usually don't go out of my way to attend the daily sales meeting with the guys, but when I heard that there would be a guest speaker there and that it would be none other than the Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Security himself, Chris Munday, I had to go. He is the reason I personally believe so much in this company. I wasn't sure about the whole summer sales idea and whether or not I wanted to follow Casey out here to give it a shot, until I heard Munday speak at a "Super Saturday" event. He told compelling stories about how much he believes in and personally backs up Pinnacle. I then decided that if Casey really wanted to try sales that Pinnacle would be the company to go with. I guess you could say, he sold me on summer sales. He is probably one of the best motivational speakers ever. And today we had the privilege of hearing him speak to all of us on a more personal level as the Pittsburgh Pinnacle team. He spoke to us as if we were all on the same level as he is. He made us laugh with some of his stories and definitely motivated us with others. You can tell he really cares about the each and every one of us no matter how small a part we play in the company.

I think it's safe to say the we all really enjoyed him visiting us here in the "Burgh"!

Famous Dave's

On Saturday night, we went out for some barbeque at Famous Dave's. Most of us ate so much our guts hurt! I still might be full from all the food! It was yum-o!! :)

Rumble in the Burgh!

The fellas know there's a time to work and then they know there's a time to PLAY! Here they are enjoying a Sunday afternoon game of touch football. They don't get a whole lot of time off out here, so it good to see them take a break and play nice together. :)

If you weren't playing football, you might have been out at the pool. Here's a photo I snapped of Jake being tossed in the pool by KC, and Rachel is the girl to the right.

Here are a few random group shoots {click to enlarge}:

Tennis Anyone?. . .

At the apartment complex we are all staying in, we are lucky enough to have a pool, a gym, a basketball court and a tennis court! If you hang around long enough, you'll catch some of the action.

{i think this picture is such a typical luke reaction. it's so luke!}

{judging by the looks on the crowds' faces, it must be a pretty intense match-up}
